My name is Dr. Ashley,
and I’m here to help.
Hello! I’m Dr. Ashley Marchante-Hoffman (she/her/ella), a bilingual (English/Spanish) licensed clinical psychologist. I specialize in comprehensive psychological testing for children and adolescents because I believe every child deserves to be truly understood. I love being able to help families uncover their child’s unique strengths and offer them the guidance they need to support their child’s growth and confidence.
I began my academic journey at Dartmouth College and went on to earn my Master’s and PhD in Clinical Psychology, with a specialization in pediatric health, at the University of Miami.
My training continued at Nemours Children’s Health, Delaware Valley, where I completed both my doctoral internship and fellowship. I then worked as a pediatric psychologist at Nemours for several years, providing testing and therapy, as well as training future psychologists in both primary care and the Swank Autism Center.
I am licensed to practice in Delaware and Pennsylvania, and I’m also a PSYPACT-authorized provider, which allows me to offer virtual services to families in most states across the U.S.
On a more personal note, I’m Cuban-American and grew up in Miami, Florida. Outside of my professional life, I’ve always loved listening to music, dancing, and exploring new foods. I’m a wife and mother of two wonderful young children who keep me on my toes and make every day an adventure!
My Core Values
-
I believe every family deserves to feel truly seen, heard, and valued for who they are. When you walk into my practice, you'll find a welcoming space where your differences, language, and cultural background are valued and respected.
-
I want every caregiver to know that there is absolutely nothing broken about your child. They simply may have a unique way of learning, thinking, and experiencing the world. My job is to help your child and family understand and celebrate those differences while also providing clear, practical, and personalized solutions. I provide strategies that fit your child’s strengths, needs, and environment. Whether it’s support at school, tools for home, or ways to build on your child’s natural abilities, my goal is to equip you with solutions that empower your child to thrive exactly as they are.
-
I promise to always be honest, transparent, and clear with both you and your child throughout the entire testing process. From our very first meeting to the final feedback session, you’ll know exactly what we’re doing, why we’re doing it, and how it will help. You and your child will know what to expect when they’re with me, from the types of activities we’ll do to how long each step might take. My goal is for all of you to feel informed, prepared, and supported, so the results we gather truly guide the next steps in a way that makes sense for your family.
-
Every child is wonderfully unique, which means every evaluation should be too. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all approaches. Instead, I take the time to really get to know your child's individual strengths and support needs so I can provide insights that truly fit your family's needs.
